I agree with all the other positive reviews. these springs are perfect! their firm. progressive said their springs will be 15% stiffer than stock. I have an '01 Honda shadow spirit 1100. the springs are the the same length as stock. I added Harley screamin eagle heavy duty fork fluid. suppose to be 15 weight. now, bike is like riding on a cloud. handles nice and smooth! when you ride over patched roads you will feel bumps. these springs are nothing drastic. to me, these are exactly what I wanted. worth the money, highly recommend. very easy to install. lift the bike, pull the wheel, use hex wrench to remove the drain screws, use a socket to remove the fork caps, take out the springs, cut the spacer to your bike, add the recommended fork oil, replace caps, that's it!.....very easy.
