The one thing that sets aside these half helmets from everybody else is the soft and comfortable polyester liner which can be removed and or replaced. I ordered this helmet for short rides where I wanted the wind in my face and didn't want to wear my full helmet. First of all, the design is top notch. It looks airbrushed on and is subtle enough to be cool yet noticable. I have a large, long, narrowish head and this helmet fits snugly and perfectly. I was surprised by this. Also, it really holds on to your head. Granted, I have a shaved head, and perhaps the stubble helps keep in in place, but at 100mph on the interstate it held tight. I've never had a half helmet do that.

The only flaw is how loud it is. It's not the wind...it's the fact that the placement of the front part of the chinstrap catches and funnels air directly into your ears, making anything above 40mph uncomfortable, and 50mph deafening. Other half helmets just have wind, but man this helmet really focuses the noise and rush directly on the eardrums. HIGHLY recommended helmet.....if you have earplugs in! Satisfied.
