plastic hinges. the lenses don't block out the sunlight all that well. not adjustable at all . seems like they are worth maybe 10 bucks, rather than 100. I was terribly disappointed. they look cool, but practical? not really. worth a $100? not at all. they seem cheaply made. I've had much better experiences with Oakley before this. these almost seemed fake.
