We wanted to make this helmet/Bluetooth combination as user friendly as possible so we decided to integrate the actual V-Com Bluetooth system inside the helmet. The 2.0 Bluetooth is also equipped with EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) which is compatible with 1.1 and 1.2. This system will let you pair with a second V-Com enabled helmet for wireless driver to passenger or driver to driver communication within 500 feet. It is compatible with A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth frequency profiles. Battery life is 6-8 hour talk time and 48 hours of standby which is outstanding for a Bluetooth battery. I am enjoying this helmet. The volume is good when i ride a bike that has a windshield. with out the windshield there is too much wind noise to understand what is being played. But when the helmet comes off. You can tell the volume was good because your ears are ringing from the loud music. Call volumn is awesome and the noise reduction mic is amazing. I highly recommend this helmet.
