Works great on my Ariens Lawn Tractor. I bought this because it has a resettable timer which is great for keeping up with oil changes without trying to figure out when the last one was done. I also like the tachometer function on it, which works great after you set it for use with the lawn tractor at 2 Pulse and 1 Revolution. On the negative side, the oil, air filter and service values cannot be changed from their values of 10, 5, 20 hours respectively. The total time meter cannot be reset. While it's not really directed for use on a lawn tractor, it does offer some nice extras you can use if you wanted them. Time will tell how long the battery will last as the unit is sealed and doesn't have an option to change the battery.
