In theory they are very easy to install, however the soft metal used for the nuts and bolts made it very frustrating. When you tightened the lock nut it would catch and loosen the mounting bolt, to tighten the mounting bolt you had to remove the set screw. The set screw was soft and was stripped out by the torx wrench so nearly impossible to remove and retighten. Everything was mounted after much stress but not completely tight and may never be.

Hope you have better luck installing than I did!

Once I got everything working the lights are great and I love the added visibility to be seen during the day and to see at night. The mounting sucked!
