Givi Silver T477 Roll Bag - Black Review

This is a step up from the ubiquitous Cortech sports luggage that unfortunately isn't very durable. The seams are reinforced and the material, while appearing to be similar to that in Cortech luggage, holds up much better. I've had mine for 2 seasons now and they're not suffering any of the rips or fraying of my old set.

I have 4 minor criticisms. First, I wish these roll bags would all have a reinforce bottom (removable) to help them hold their shape better. Second, the heat shielding on the bottom is a bit awkward and needs a soft later to prevent scratching your bike (although careful mounting will address this). Third, the Cortech luggage has an ingenious modular system that the Givi luggage lacks. So there's no built-in way to connect this back to the T479 if you have it. Finally, I'd like if the bag had a few internal pouches for storing small, loose items (fuses, ear plugs, etc.).

This is a good bag though and I'd recommend it. I use it as my afternoon ride bag to carry tools, water, etc.
