After ordering two balaclavas that disappointed me, I decided that only way to find the best one is to order one of each different kind and try them all on. I ordered six different balaclavas ranging in price from $15-$50 (including Alpine Star winter touring, and Klim Covert)......................I returned all the rest and kept this one! Here's what sets this one apart: 1. Available in two sizes so fits well (If you wear a helmet that's smaller than size-XL, get the S/M size, otherwise get the L/XL size). 2. Neck is long enough that you can keep the nose covered, buckle your helmet, and still have plenty left to tuck into your jacket. 3. It STAYS tucked in (in back too). 4. It's COMPLETELY windproof. 5. It covers your forehead (a lot of them don't). 6. It's just made REALLY well! I wore this one morning (under a full-face helmet) when the temp was -18F, rode up to 75 mph and did not feel any cold on my neck at all!
