I got the 4540's for my 05 vtx1800s, and they look great. You can tell that they are well made, and the only problem with the install is getting the floor board back on with that #%@!! spring. The only caution that I have is if you have long legs. I have a 35" inseam and I found that the 4540's don't go forward enough. I felt jammed up and I needed about 3 more inches. With a little southern construction, I mounted them further forward than the directions showed and it made for a more comfortable ride. If you have "normal" length legs, you will have no problem this is product.
