I looked into a hard top for my Mule and they are not cheap. Furthermore, once that top is installed, trailering at highway speed is not recommended. Since I trailer mine most of the time, a hard top wasn't an option. This soft top is heavy duty and kept tight with Velcro and a flexed fiberglass rod. It goes on and off in a minute and is just right to keep the sun and rain off.
