I purchased this exact bumper last month and love it!!! I wanted a bumper that could mount a winch up higher than the stock location. I don't go mudding or deep water riding, but a major reason why winches fail is because they get submerged in water and rust from the inside out. I didn't want this to happen to my nice Viper winch! Plus, it adds much needed frontal impact protection to the UTV. The front of the RZR XP900 is very weak. There is zero protection on either sides of the radiator except for the body plastic. The slightest impact around the light area and you are going to be out some serious cash!! This bumper provides that needed protection. The long arms that connect the bumper to the firewall are very beefy!! You would have to get in a nice crash to damage this bumper. Of course it comes at a cost and weight disadvantage, but I think it was well worth the tradeoff.

I installed the bumper with no help in about 45 minutes with basic hand tools. I mounted the long arms to the firewall first and then proceeded to mount the bumper to the arms one side at a time.

If I had to complain about one thing, I would say that it took the sportiness out of my ride and gave it more of a utility look. The brush guard type bumpers keep the sportiness of the ride, but do not provide the level of front end protection I was looking for. Plus, those cool looking bumpers do not allow you the option to mount a winch.
