Sena Technologies SMH10R Bluetooth Headset/Intercom Kit - -- Review

I bought this to replace the older style I had on my helmet.
Pros: Slim and low profile - older style use to get caught on my backpack straps when I looked hard left. Battery lasts and lasts - Ran on a single charge listening to music and talking on the phone for about 10+ hours last weekend.
Sound is VERY clear and the people I've talked to while Im using it cant even tell that Im on my bike.

Cons: A little harder to install due to a separate battery. Design is intended to mount on outside of helmet. I cant imagine why you would want to do that so I had to find a place to fit it under the liner. Also buttons are hard to find/feel with gloves on.

RK Racing Chain GB520MXU-120 120-Links MX Sealed MX Chain with Connecting Link Review

The chain came with a clip style master link so no need to purchase this separately. The chain is narrow so it will fit most pre-sealed O ring equipped bikes. I'll have to take off a star for the stretch factor. Most sealed ring chains stretch very little and only need to be adjusted after the first ride. I'm still making significant adjustments to this chain after several hours in the saddle. I never had to do this with my DID VM. Price was good at $89.

I saw these originally on WOOT for about $100 but it sold out pretty quickly. My wife bought for me as a gift and also purchased the 32 GB Micro SD card. I played with them a little in the house the night before going out riding to get familiar with them. Even in extremely low light of the house I was impressed with the picture. I did notice things were a bit choppy when playing back through the USB connection, but after copying the video to my computer it was fine - it also played fine when I used the included adapter and the SD slot on my computer. I rode all day the next day (nearly 6 hours) wearing the goggles. My battery died about 90 minutes or so into the ride and that was recording the whole time. What I liked was I knew it because it beeped at me several times before shutting off. The sound quality was impressive too. You could hear the revving of the bike, but I also narrated most of the 90 minutes and there was no problem hearing or understanding what I was saying. I took about 7 separate videos before the battery died. The longest was a little over 2GB in size. On that one, when I double-clicked it to open in the video player, I got a 'server error'. I tried again after opening the media player first, then re-tried and it played without issue.

I really like the cam. The goggles felt just like the ones I normally wear (using an off-road helmet). I found another review that said it limited their vision, but to me there was no difference in what I see with the goggles I normally wear. The only thing I didn't like was when I first got started the lens (for your eyes, not the cam) has the pins near the edges to allow you to install the peel away plastic to keep things clean. I haven't had goggles with that on them in about 30 years, so they were distracting for the first 10 minutes or so until I got used to them. After that, I didn't really notice them (similar to when you get new glasses, and the edges bug you when you first start wearing them)

I didn't even come close to using the 32GB and now am looking for a second battery I can keep on me for those days when 90 minutes is not enough.

As a point of comparison, I do have a low end cam that I really don't use because you cannot tell when it is on, the audio is worthless on it and it is never pointing where you want it. With this one, I saw the same thing as when I was on my ride.

I would definitely recommend these for someone looking for a good POV cam - even at $179. Of course I'd have liked them even more if I had snagged a pair for $100!

These mirrors look great on my GSXR 1000. The positive is the looks and size. The only negative is that I did some research before I purchased these and was under the understanding that it had the built in LEDs in not only the top but displayed light around the perimeter of the mirror itself as well, this is not the case. Regardless you can still see that the blinker is engaged if you are setting in the up right position.
